Mouser Electronics has signed several new global distribution agreements recently, adding aconno, Industruino and more to its extensive list of electronics suppliers.

On 25 September, Mouser confirmed its distribution agreement with aconno, a German developer of technology that helps reduce the barriers between software, hardware and connected things. The distribution agreement will see Mouser stock aconno’s Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, including the ACN52832 Bluetooth Smart module, ACD52832 development board and ACNPROG programmer.

The heart of the ACN52832 module is the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52832 system-on-chip (SoC), which contains a 2.4 GHz transceiver, a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F processor, 512 KB of flash and 64 KB of RAM, as well as digital peripherals. The ACD52832 is a development board for Bluetooth Smart, ANT and 2.4 GHz applications using the aconno ACN52832 module. The aconno ACNPROG meanwhile offers a small, vendor-independent debug interface for the ACN52832 module and other ARM-based chips that feature a Tag-Connect interface.

Earlier in the month, Mouser announced a distribution agreement with Industruino, a brand of Hong Kong’s ES Gear and a manufacturer of Arduino-compatible boards fully enclosed in DIN rail-mountable casings. Industruino’s open source products are suitable for permanent or prototype industrial applications, including automation, data logging and human machine interaction (HMI).

The Industruino product line of Arduino-compatible boards includes the PROTO kit and IND.I/O kit, both of which are based on a 48 MHz Microchip SAM D21 microcontroller with 256 KB of onboard flash memory and feature a backlit 128 x 64 LCD screen and a 14-pin IDC expansion port. The boards allow developers to use the Arduino platform and large community to quickly program their designs. For network connectivity, Mouser also stocks Industruino’s Ethernet and GSM/GPRS expansion modules, which connect to the PROTO and IND.I/O kits through the IDC port.
