ABUS Analogue HD surveillance cameras

The ABUS Analogue HD range of surveillance cameras enables users to upgrade standard-definition systems using existing cables, without introducing IP network equipment.

The HD video cameras are said to provide up to four times better image quality than standard cameras, enabling number-plate recognition and facial identification. Transmission distances up to 500 m are possible due to HD-TVI technology. A selection of dome, box, tube and mini-tube camera types provides choices for protecting individual premises, fuel-station kiosks, networks of stores or offices, as well as industrial applications such as process monitoring or quality control.

The range also includes digital video recorders (DVRs) that feature smart recording and image retrieval to save hard disk space and help users locate recordings of specific events such as a theft, intrusion or emergency. The DVRs provide up to 16 channels — managing one camera per channel — and up to four 4 TB HDDs to suit a variety of applications and budgets.

The range is equally suitable for small or mid-sized systems with a few cameras connected to one DVR, or larger systems with many cameras and multiple DVRs monitored on up to four screens or a video wall.
