Dewetron has released the DEWE 201 data acquisition recorder, a portable and rugged device consisting of a solid-state disk for environments where shock and vibration are present.

The recorder consists of 16 analog input channels, up to 16 digital inputs and two optional counter inputs (CAN and GPS inputs). Other features include a 1.8 GHz Pentium M processor, 1 GB RAM, 32 GB flash disk for extended shock and vibration as well as extended temperature range, 3 x USB, 2 x LAN ethernet and a WLAN Interface with external antenna.

The device runs on Windows XP Professional.
