Telit HE910 family modules receive Telstra certification

The HE910-D and HE910-G 3G+ modules from Telit Wireless Solutions have been certified as being Telstra Mobile Network compatible and approved for use on the carrier’s HSPA and HSPA+ wireless network. Featuring a low profile, low power consumption and advanced connectivity features, the two certified modules from the HE910 family are suitable for compact, high-bandwidth mobile computing, commercial, industrial and consumer applications.

The certified modules are part of the xE910 form factor family featuring a common uniform 28.2 x 28.2 x 2.2 mm LGA package and data rates of 21 Mbps-down and 5.76 Mbps-up providing high speed with an ultralow profile in the integrated solution. The Telstra approved variants are: the HE910-D, a data-only 5-band 3G/4G module that supports HSPA+, HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS (Class 12) and GSM technologies; and the HE910-G, with the same characteristics as the D plus support for digital voice (PCM) and integrated high-sensitivity GPS receiver rated at -147 dBm autonomous cold start sensitivity making it suitable for personal navigation and tracking applications.

The HE910 family modules support the top five frequency bands used in 3G globally: 850, 900, 1700, 1900 and 2100 MHz. The modules also offer ubiquitous 2G coverage with quad-band GPRS and EDGE class 12, further facilitating worldwide application deployments.
