Lampertz has launched two modular safes that provide high security for mid-sized organisations.

The LMS 9.3 provides physical protection for 19" racks on a surface of 1 m2 and it protects server racks from physical threats.

The modular design and connection enable installation without any downtime or existing IT hardware. Linking several units as well as extensions and changes of locations are possible.

The safes protect against fire, extinguishing water, corrosive gases and unauthorised access. A special feature is fire resistance for more than 90 minutes. They also comply with the temperature and humidity limits within the values allowed by hardware manufacturers, of 70 °C and 85% relative humidity for more than 30 minutes.

Also released is the basic safe, the LBS 9.1C that protects the content of its maximum 15 HU for 90 minutes against fire (EN 1363) and also complies to the IT-critical limit values for 10 minutes. It is air conditioned at a capacity optionally up to 2.4 kW and can be equipped with all infrastructure options such as the fire-alarm and extinguishing system, monitoring and UPS.
