Anderson Power Products has added to its PowerMod PSX family of PCB products with the mixed power and 24 signal versions.
The low-profile family of connectors is claimed to be at least 30% smaller than other connectors.
The devices are suitable for power connections to embedded AC/DC supplies or for board-to-board connections in servers, storage enclosures and communications equipment.
The reduced signal pin offering of 24 versus 80 reduces the overall size of the connector.
Power contacts in a multipole configuration are rated to 30 A at a 30ºC temperature rise in air and 60 A per UL 1977.
The signal contacts are rated to 1 A each. Configurations are available in either one power contact on either side of the signal contacts (01-24-01) or with two power contacts on either side (02-24-02).
Both versions are offered in vertical and right angle male and female connectors.
