With the Harting Han-Modular series, users can assemble their own connectors according to their individual requirements. Han-Modular docking frames are available in sizes 6 B to 24 B for use with docking applications in the IP20 range.

‘Blind’ connection has long been an option due to the automatic processes provided by the Han-Modular system. The docking frame makes it possible to create a modular docking connector without housing. This type of connector is needed, eg, as an insert in switch cabinets. The insert cassette is pushed into the cabinet.

The sides of the connector can now be brought together ‘blind’ and so connected reliably. This is achieved by means of a float mount frame, which can move freely to ±2 mm. At the same time, centring pins/bushes with high mechanical stability ensure that both connector sides connect reliably together.

The plastic frames are mechanically stable. They come in four different sizes suitable for two, three, four and six modules.
