The Sierra Wireless GX400 3G + IO multipurpose intelligent gateway offers 3G/NextG mobile broadband connectivity, standard GPS, Wi-Fi and ALEOS intelligence coupled with extended IO support. It is designed for use in mobile environments (AVL/tracking, field service, public safety) or fixed/portable settings (industrial, utilities, security, enterprise, point-of-sale).
The gateway provides flexibility and versatility in a small, rugged form factor for any location-aware application. The router/gateway includes extra I/O support, providing an additional 4 digital I/O (total of 5), 4 analog I/O and an extra RS232 Serial port, making it suitable for applications in SCADA and remote monitoring.
The GX400 is powered by ALEOS embedded intelligence and managed by the AirLink Management Services. It is a ‘one device fits all’ solution that allows customers to deploy and manage the same device for multiple applications, simplifying deployment and management.
