Co-creation conference explores the IoT

Traditionally an industrial hardware manufacturer, Advantech is moving towards providing solution-ready packages (SRPs) for faster implementation of IoT solutions. Collaborating with partners worldwide, the company is focused on creating a complete Industrial IoT ecosystem through its co-creation model.

To that end, Advantech Australia hosted its first Co-Creation Partner Conference, part of the global Advantech co-creation event series, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 15 August. Over 150 delegates attended the event to learn about co-creating the future of Industry 4.0 and smart cities.

Damian Trubiano, the Country Manager of Advantech Australia, gave the welcome address, which was followed by a presentation about co-creating the future of the IoT world from Vincent Chang, General Manager of the Intercontinental region of Advantech. Guest speakers from Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, SOTI and Prospect Control Systems covered a range of topics including IoT and AI, data security, the future of edge computing in IoT and more.

Multiple display booths were set up to showcase the vast range of solutions that Advantech has to offer across embedded IoT, Industrial IoT, retail, healthcare and logistics sectors. Attendees were able to interact with and see the latest solutions provided by Advantech and learn how these solutions could contribute to improving their operational efficiency.
