Sintrones has introduced the EN50155 certified VBOX-3600 embedded computer. The product is equipped with an Intel 3rd Generation Core i7-3517UE Processor up to 2.8 GHz and has a compact design which makes it suitable for space-critical, in-vehicle applications.

The unit features dual independent display VGA+DVI-I and DP outputs that can play Full HD video; three serial ports (two with RS485 and support auto direction control); four Intel LAN ports; four USB 3.0 ports; one USB 2.0 port internal; and 9-32 VDC input with power ignition control and power-off delay time.

The device provides two 2.5″ drive bays for SATA type HDD/SDD and supports hot swappable storage. It is convenient to separate OS storage and image data storage.

The product is equipped with dual SIM card slots and four mini-PCIe sockets. It supports LTE/3G network, Wi-Fi 802.11n a/b/g or access point mode, GPS with dead reckoning positioning and Bluetooth connectivity. It is suitable for mobile security and surveillance applications within trains, buses and cars.
