Mean Well AD55 and AD155 security power supplies
The 55 W AD55 and 155W AD155 series from Mean Well are suitable for security equipment OEMs.
Both models provide a full-range universal AC input and are available with either single or dual outputs. There is also a battery charger output option for use in UPS systems. The AD155 has the added benefit of built-in power factor correction.
The company’s fanless design ensures that there are no failures caused by moving parts. Free air convection alone provides an operating temperature of -10 to 60°C.
All models comply with EN55022 class B EMC standards as well as UL, CUL, TUV, CB and CE standards. They are supplied complete with C-Tick.
The company has included built-in protections for short circuit, overload and overvoltage, as well as ‘battery-low’ protection on appropriate models. The AD55 has the option of a DC alarm signal.
