Harwin Gecko G125 Series horizontal male connectors
Harwin has introduced the G125 Series of horizontal male connectors to its Gecko range, providing increased design flexibility. The horizontal option allows for mother-daughter board configurations and reduces PCB stack height when used with cable connectors.
All male connectors have the option of locking latches, which can be disengaged either by hand or with special tools when access is restricted. The choice of through-board barbs or SMT fixings offers improved PCB retention, minimising the risk of connector damage.
Space and weight is a consideration for many high-reliability applications, and the connectors are designed to offer high performance in a miniature package with pin spacing of 1.25 mm and up to 50 contacts per connector. The connectors also accommodate 2 A per contact.
Tested to allow high performance in extreme conditions, the product can operate within a wide temperature range (-65 to +150°C) and resist vibration (10 to 2000 Hz, 20 G), shock and acceleration (both 50 G).
