Harwin’s M40 series 1.00 mm fine pitch connectors are now available with 3D cad models and step files to make the design of new applications faster and easier for all board to board applications.

A claimed space saving of 60% over the standard 2.54 mm pitch connectors will provide greater connector density for engineers to work with in space-critical applications.

The double-row connectors are only available in SMD/SMT formats due to the connector pitch. The M40 series are available in the following standard sizes: 3+3, 4+4, 5+5, 6+6, 8+8, 10+10, 20+20 and 25+25 ways.

Features include: double row connectors in the range of 3+3 to 25+25 contacts available; packaged in tape and reel format with pick-and-place caps; twin beam connection system; surface-mount solder tails; gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts for full RoHS compliancy; low profile, minimal PCB real estate footprint; mechanically strong; secure location to PCB.
