Harwin range of surface-mount wire management metal cable clips
A range of surface-mount, wire management metal cable clips is available from Harwin, in four different sizes and they are specifically designed to be automatically placed and soldered directly to the PCB.
The clips are much smaller than equivalent plastic wire management types. They are placed directly onto solder pads, eliminating the need to drill retaining holes in the PCB. The new clips are also ultra-low-profile and, unlike the plastic types, do no protrude through the PCB.
Plastic clips require installation by hand. The metal clips eliminate this by being assembled at the same time as the rest of the SMT components
Supplied on tape and reel, and fully compatible with automated manufacturing and soldering processes, the clips have good mechanical performance and are available in four different sizes to accommodate a range of wires between 1.0 and 3.0 mm.
