Omnetics Micro-D connector

Omnetics Micro-D connectors for high-reliability aerospace, military, medical, optics, guidance systems, space and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) applications are available from nine to 51 contacts with termination types ranging from wire-to-wire, surface mount, solder cup, and thru-hole.

The connectors are built to shock and vibration requirements of MIL-DTL-83513.

The connectors incorporate a one-piece flex pin design for greater shock and vibration resistance. The high-reliability, gold-plated flex pin is designed for >2000 mating cycles and the devices operate from -55 to 125°C.

The range includes: wired micro-D connectors in sizes 9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37, 51, available with two contact rows. Size 51 available with three contact rows; soldercup connectors in sizes 9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37 , 51, available with two contact rows. Size 51 available with three contact rows; right angle thru-hole in sizes 9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37, 51 are available with two contact rows; straight thru-hole in sizes 9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37, 51 are available with two contact rows; horizontal surface mount in sizes 9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37, 51 are available with two contact rows; vertical surface mount in sizes 9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37, 51 are available with two contact rows; card edge surface mount in sizes 9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37, 51 are available with two contact rows.

Mating pin and socket models are available.
