Phoenix Contact has added two mini plug connectors with fast connection to its range. The PTPM pierce contact connector simplifies the connection of flexible individual conductors up to AWG 22.
The conductors can be connected in pairs by pressing with the thumb, without the need to strip conductors, which makes them especially suitable for connecting ethernet cables.
The spring cage can handle currents of up to 6 A. The push in spring cage technology allows both rigid and flexible conductors up to 0.75 mm2 to be connected.
Rigid conductors are just stripped and directly inserted into the plug connector. A screwdriver is used to release the connection.
