The "2007 Asia–Pacific Customer Survey of the Electronic Connector Industry,' conducted by market researchers Bishop & Associates, has placed ERNI Electronics in the top spot in the Japanese market and awarded top marks in the three major categories of product quality, product catalogue and website usability.

In overall ranking, ERNI secured third place among the 46 listed firms, 29 of whom were ultimately evaluated, and for all 13 questions asked, the company was in the leading group.

The report covers a total of 46 connector manufacturers and is based on a comprehensive questionnaire evaluation. Survey participants included OEMs and CEMs in a wide variety of industry segments, and distributors in a total of 15 countries (including Australia, China, India, Japan and Taiwan).

The purpose of the survey was to provide a status report on the general level of user satisfaction with connector vendors, and an individual evaluation of various attributes such as product quality, delivery reliability, technical and sales support, sampling, new product development, product catalogues, website usability and pricing.
