For high-reliability applications, Harwin has launched Trio-Tek Datamate, the auto-crimp open barrel crimp contact for automated high- and medium-volume applications.

The contact features a triangular form which allows a simplified crimping process. The crimp design features the same high reliability characteristics of the Datamate range but allows the user to automate the crimping process.

Inexpensive hand crimping tools are also available for lower volume and product development /prototyping.
