Brilliance high-definition BNC connectors designed for use with Brilliance Precision video coaxial cables, the new family of BNC connectors have been introduced.
The connectors also provide better than -20 dB return loss performance to 4.5 GHz, exceeding the SMPTE specification requirements.
The connector range comprises: breakthrough one-piece BNC compression connectors with optional patented locking feature; optimised three-piece BNC crimp connectors; connector tools for both one-piece and three-piece connectors.
The one-piece BNC compression connector design eliminates the pin, collar and connector as separate components, providing faster, easier installation.
It provides good holding strength and weather resistance, due to internal 360° compression rings. A non-blind entry ensures that the centre conductor is properly inserted into the centre pin, and improved insulation materials (PTFE) help to deliver maximum return loss performance.
The locking connector features an optional screw-on locking collar that securely aligns the connector and locks the bayonet nut of the BNC in place.
