Olex has released a fire performance cable that was developed in conjunction with the Cooperative Research Centre for Polymers.

Pyrolex Ceramifiable uses polymer technology. Unlike conventional polymers that typically break down in a fire, the Ceramifiable transforms into a protective ceramic barrier.

It is also designed without stiff mica glass tape, claimed to be a world first in fire performance cable design, ensuring greater flexibility and cost-savings at installation and good performance in emergencies.
