HARTING PushPull second-generation connectors

To keep pace with the trends of modularisation and miniaturisation, and to solve problems faced by engineers during machine installations — such as space challenges, complex tools or working with an inadequately trained assembly worker — HARTING’s PushPull connector variants are available for use in a wide variety of environments.

The connectors are easy to plug in and unplug, and install quickly due to the ergonomic housing. The signature products in the series are Variant 14 (V14), Variant 4 (V4) and M12.

The second generation of PushPull V4 Industrial has a different housing material which protects it from aggressive chemicals such as the cutting oils used for lathing and milling machines. With a better housing, PushPull V4 Industrial is resistant to aggressive resources. It also comes with an anti-rotation lock, providing better safety.

The V14 is suitable for transmitting data, signal and power, particularly in the field of decentralised automation. It has 10 signal contacts for transmitting analog, digital, low-voltage and bus signals. It offers fast on-site assembly using pre-assembled inserts and it is also EMC compatible due to the shielded inserts.

The M12, originally a plug connector with a screw lock, has already been used as a PushPull variant by HARTING in the field of transportation. The company is now equipping the entire M12 round plug connector portfolio with PushPull compatibility.
