Interworld Electronics CS0400-479 Bluetooth cordless serial adapter
The CS0400-479 Bluetooth wireless cordless serial adapter eliminates the conventional RS232 serial cable, providing an easy-to-use, invisible connection.
The miniature adapter allows any device with a standard 9-pin serial port to communicate wirelessly with Bluetooth-enabled equipment such as laptop computers, PDA devices or mobile phones.
Users can use two CS0400-479 adapters to provide a serial-to-serial connection over a Bluetooth wireless link. In this configuration neither of the serial devices is required to have Bluetooth support.
The adapter is a Class 2 Bluetooth module that supports serial data rates from 1200 to 230,000 Baud. It includes a 5 VDC plug pack and the modules can also be powered from pin 9 of a serial port DB9 connector.
