Omnetics miniature circular medical connectors assist patient interface electronics. The connectors are available in three diameters and contacts from 2 to 27 pins with 0.05" centres with a latching option.

The recessed male and female contacts are protected in the polarised recessed housing.

Medical connectors need to be small, lightweight and comfortable in use, but built for rugged handling and extended performance and reliability.

Standard and custom designs and shapes have been applied to catheters, probes, instruments.

Applications include a neurologic testing system, laser surgery tools, bone healing stimulators and blood temperature measuring catheters.

Omnetics built-in connectors can be moulded inside medical analysis tools and probes. Solid models for design planning are available on the web. Standard sizes and shapes are available off the shelf for sample review and prototyping.
