The sealed bi-lobes are available in weldable or solderable bulkhead mounts with 9-65 positions. Each contact is sealed with a dispersion strengthened, devitrifying polycrystalline ceramic compound that offers better performance than conventional glass seals making it five times more resistant to fracturing than glass.
The devices achieve helium leak rates of less than 1x10-9 cc/s helium at 1 atmosphere of differential pressure.
