TE board-to-board screw-down jumper assembly

Wednesday, 03 March, 2010 | Supplied by: Avnet Electronics Marketing

A TE screw-down jumper assembly provides the electrical connection between adjacent printed circuit boards arranged in a string of LED PCBs. The screw fastens to threaded holes in an aluminium-clad PCB base or into a separate aluminium heat sink used with FR4 boards.

The two-position jumper fits onto a 16.50 mm wide PCB with features that maintain a 7.0 mm spacing between adjacent boards. The ETL-recognised board-to-board connector meets UL 1977 standards.

Specifications include a current rating of 5 A, operating temperature of -40 to +105°C, 250 VAC/250 VDC rating, and a 1500 VAC dielectric withstanding voltage rating.

Other features include: two-position connection; connector assembly attachment to adjacent printed circuit board via screw to heatsink fully seats electrical contacts against PCB pads; registration features in connector assembly align with PCB cut-outs; RoHS compliant.
