Heyco Products has introduced a range of EMC metal liquid tight cordgrips, suitable for applications where electromagnetic compatibility is needed.
Manufactured from nickel-plated brass with TPE gland, the grips offer 360° shield contact with contact sleeve due to a braided shield that runs into the gland. The combination of the sealing insert and the contact socket guarantees a constant contact with minimal transfer impedance.
The grips are available in both PG and metric threads; they also feature a long thread for use in standard or thick panels and give inner cable protection. The range has multiple sizes for cable diameters from 2.5 to 25.5 mm and EMC locknuts are available, with cutting teeth to provide optimal shield contact. IP68 rated, the grips have a temperature range of -40 to 100 °C.
