Agilent Technologies has released an upgrade to the firmware for its N6705A DC power analyser.
The release incorporates features that increase capabilities and improve ease of use. It is a free upgrade for all existing users.
This latest version includes the ability to: generate more complex waveforms up to 64 k points with the Constant-Dwell Arb; create intricate, repetitive waveforms with the arbitrary waveform sequencer; log data directly to a PC instead of a USB stick or internal memory; see watt-hour and amp-hour measurements with the data logger; capture increased data with 2x faster sampling intervals and digitisation in the data logger and scope; increase data storage with 64x deeper scope memory.
