The Ionix 'turtle' battery charger is manufactured by Siomar, an Australian company with many years' experience in the design of batteries. The product is exported to over 17 countries.

The charger can be supplied as a finished unit in its own housing, or as a PCB to embed into users' products and applications.

Sophisticated in-house programming allows multiple voltage, current and temperature parameters to be monitored.

Existing units can be re-programmed as customer applications change.

According to Siomar, turtles are capable of charging any battery chemistry and any battery size.

It can off any DC input from 12 to 48 V and can also be modified to run directly from AC input.

It features in-built and adjustable temperature compensation for charging lead acid batteries. The charger can be used for either cyclic charging or backup/float charge.
