International Rectifier DC-DC converters
International Rectifier has introduced the RTA family of high-temperature DC-DC converters for high power subsurface and high-temperature applications up to 185 °C, including down-hole drilling, seismic and natural resource exploration and jet engine control electronics.
The converters are suitable as building blocks and intermediate bus converters for power systems.
The series can provide up to 20 W of output over extreme case temperatures of -35 to 185 °C. The family has an input voltage range of 150 to 250 and is offered in single and dual output configurations.
Input and output are galvanically isolated to protect the output loads from system failures at the input side and provide the flexibility of stacking several converters to achieve a higher output voltage.
