Amtex Electronics has introduced the ZUP series of laboratory power supplies.
The series includes standard features such as overvoltage/undervoltage settings, last setting memory with automatic or safe restart options, universal input 85-267 VAC, built-in RS-232 and RS-485 interface and a GPIB programming option.
Each model includes an LED status for the 'at a glance' status appraisal for CC/CV, alarm, foldback, local/remote and on/off.
The models can be used as standalone laboratory bench power supplies, or multiple units can be assembled into 19" racks, incorporating a master control switch.
The switchmode design makes these some of the lightest models on the market, with the 800 W unit weighing 5.8 kg. There are over 20 models to choose from, with single output options from 6 to 120 V suitable for every medium power application.
