Eveready has launched Eveready Lithium, a longer-lasting battery that is claimed to outperform standard alkaline batteries by up to six times in digital cameras.
They are available in both AA and AAA sizes.
Almost half the 2.4 million digital cameras sold in Australia in the past 12 months are powered by AA or AAA batteries. The new batteries take up to 480 photos in digital cameras, six times more than standard alkaline batteries, which take up to 80 photos.
