Mean Well has introduced the TN/TS-3000 series of DC/AC true sine wave inverters, that is lightweight and is claimed to have up to 92% efficiency.

They can provide 3000 W continuously, 3450 W for three minutes, 4500 W for 10 seconds, or 6000 W surge power for 30 utility cycles.

The TS-3000 is a typical power inverter. The TN-3000 is an inverter with built-in AC charger and a solar charger. It can operate with or without solar panels and battery banks in two operation modes (UPS and energy saving mode).

The series is equipped with protections, include BAT overvoltage, BAT low alarm, BAT low shutdown, internal fuse, BAT reverse polarity and DC circuit breaker for input side and short circuit, inverter overload, overtemperature protections, AC circuit breaker and GFCI (optional).

The series complies with global safety and EMC certificates and is suitable for powering all kinds of home appliances, power tools and office and portable equipment in vehicles, yachts, mobile homes or places where the utility doesn’t service or the power quality is poor.
