Obiat has released two power quality analysers, models PQA823 and PQA824.

They work on the Windows CE platform drive external memory devices such as USB pens and flash memories. They use colour touch screens and can record and store the values of all selected parameters at the same time.

Features include: four current and five voltage inputs to measure; phase and neutral currents; phase to phase, phase to neutral and phase to ground voltages; power factors; active, reactive and apparent power (global and single phase); current and voltage harmonics up to 49th order; voltage anomalies; voltage spikes (PQA824 only); flicker; unbalance; inrush currents; colour display with touch screen and backlight; help on line; 16 Mb internal memory; rechargeable batteries with mains adapter to power the instrument and recharge the batteries at the same time; USB port to download data to a laptop or PC; USB port to drive external items such as pen memories, Bluetooth adapter, etc; CompactFlash memory socket.
