SMP 5057 series power inductors

Gowanda Electronics has introduced a series of surface mount inductors designed for power applications where high current handling and surface mount packaging are required.

The SMP 5057 series is specifically targeted for use in DC/DC converters and switching regulated power supplies. The construction enables the inductors to be used in these and many other power supply applications where higher current handling capability and durability are important.

Specific applications include microprocessor and distributed power applications - including power supplies, power regulators and DC to DC converters - especially in test and measurement equipment, automotive electronics, medical diagnostic equipment and industrial process control equipment.

Other applications include use in security systems, instrumentation, barcode and laboratory analysis equipment.

Inductance range is from 3.9 ±20% µH (at 1 kHz) to 100,000 ±10% µH (at 100 kHz), current ratings from 9.75 to 0.090 DC A and saturation current from 24.0 to 0.146 DC A.
