Meanwell Enterprises has launched the first model in its Slim DIN rail product series, the SDR-240, for the growing demand of high-performance DIN rail power supplies.

The design of 63.5 mm wide helps save space on the rail and makes it 42.8% smaller in size compared with its predecessor.

Featuring 93.5% efficiency, it can provide 240 W continuously or 360 W for 3 s (50% more bonus power) up to 60°C by only free air convection.

Standard functions include: built-in active PFC function, DC OK relay contact, on panel LED indicator and protection for short-circuit, overload, overvoltage and overtemperature. The dimensions of the unit are 63 x 125.2 x 113.5 mm and it is available with a DC output of 24 V-10 A and 48 V-5 A.

Complying with UL, CUL, TUV and CE certificates, the supply is suitable for applications in factory automation, semiconductor fabrication equipment, marine related installation and electromechanical applications with mid power demand.
