The TPS62355 is a high-frequency, synchronous step-down DC/DC converter with a 0.9 V 1.15 V default output voltage and is available in chip-scale packaging.

Intended for low-power applications, it supports up to 800 mA load current and allows the use of low-cost inductors and capacitors.

Communication interface can be used for dynamic voltage scaling with voltage steps as small as 12.5 mV.

Other features include: 88% efficiency at 3 MHz operation; 800 mA output current at V1 = 2.7 V; ±2% PWM DC voltage accuracy; 35 ns minimum on-time; efficiency optimised power-save mode (light PFM); transient optimised power-save mode (fast PFM); 28 µA typical quiescent current; I2C compatible interface up to 3.4 Mbps; pin-selectable output voltage; and synchronisable on-the-fly to external clock signal.
