Analog Devices ADIS16135 angular rate sensor
The Analog Devices ADIS16135 high-precision angular rate sensor provides a digital output proportional to the angular rate about the Z-axis (yaw) for rates up to ±300°/s minimum.
A 24-bit sigma-delta ADC digitises the output of a high-reliability iMEMS gyroscope and the internal temperature sensor, and provides the data via an SPI-compatible interface.
Featuring 0.0125°/s/LSB sensitivity, 0.0122°/s/rt-Hz noise density, 335 Hz bandwidth, and 2048 sps sampling rate, the stable design minimises output variations due to temperature, voltage, linear acceleration, vibration and next-level assembly.
Sensitivity and bias are fully calibrated over the -40 to +85°C temperature range. A digital self-test feature exercises the mechanical structure and enables system-level diagnostics.
Operating with a single 5 V supply, the device consumes 440 mW in normal mode and 7 mW in sleep mode.
