ICP DAS’s PEX-D64 is a PCI Express, 64-channel digital I/O board with a timer/counter. Supporting PCI Express bus, the product provides 32-channel DI and 32-channel DO consisting of two 16-bit input ports and two 16-bit output ports.

The device offers a 6-channel counter/timer with four-clock sources: 2 MHz, 1 MHz, 500 kHz and 250 kHz. The user can use the clock source from the soldering pad. Three of the timer/counter channels are for general purposes such as frequency measurement, event counting and pulse generation; the other three channels are for interrupt function.

The product has a Card ID switch with which users can recognise the board by the ID via software when using two or more PEX-D64 cards on one computer. The cards support various OS versions, such as Linux, DOS and Windows.

DLL and Active X control, together with various language sample programs based on Turbo C++, Borland c++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET and LabVIEW, are provided to help users to develop their own applications quickly and easily.
