Tektronix TBS2000 oscilloscope

The TBS2000 oscilloscope from Tektronix is said to be the only ‘basic’ model oscilloscope to provide Wi-Fi and probe functionality, as well as featuring the longest record length (20 Mpoints) and largest display (9″ WVGA display with 15 horizontal divisions) in its class for faster signal evaluation and troubleshooting.

Models are available with 70 or 100 MHz bandwidth and with two or four channels. Waveform cursor readouts and 32 automatic measurements make it easy to confidently analyse signals. It is claimed to be the only basic oscilloscope with the TekVPI Probe Interface for better applications coverage with a wider range of active and current probes.

For engineering professors required to teach large groups of students, the product’s Wi-Fi capability makes it easy to set up an engineering lab. It also features built-in and online support, such as HelpEverywhere and the downloadable Tektronix resource centre, to support the teaching of large groups.
