Developing tools for testing and troubleshooting SMDs

Friday, 05 October, 2012

A joint venture between Siborg Systems Inc and the Institute of Automation and Electrometry in Russia will develop of a new model of Smart Tweezers.

Smart Tweezers will be a solution for testing and troubleshooting the mounting of surface mount devices (SMDs) on printed circuit boards (PCBs).

The tool will determine the type of component (resistor, capacitor, inductor) and then automatically select the proper range and signal frequency for accuracy measurements.
