Altronic Distributors has released an advanced autoranging multimeter designed for field servicing, labs and R&D centres.

True RMS measurement down to four decimal places provides the accuracy technicians require when operating on high-tech devices. CatII 1000 V and Cat III 600 V ratings offer excellent transient voltage protection. The meter provides an array of on-screen feedback for the user including the measured value, time and date, min, max and average values. Plus an analog bar graph display for added flexibility.

The in-built memory allows 37,300 events to be logged with time and date stamping.

This can be expanded to 100,000 events when connected to a USB-equipped computer. AC and DC measurement of volts and current are provided, plus resistance, capacitance, frequency and temperature.

This meter claims it will provide technicians with years of reliable service. Supplied with PC software, interface leads, thermocouple and test probes in a protective case.
