Agilent E4982A LCR meter for testing passive components

Wednesday, 16 May, 2012 | Supplied by: Keysight Technologies Australia Pty Ltd

Agilent has introduced the E4982A LCR meter for testing passive components, such as SMD inductors and EMI filters, where impedance testing at frequencies of 1 MHz to 3 GHz is required. The E4982A's powerful list measurements make it suitable for R&D and quality assurance.

The meter offers 0.8% basic impedance measurement accuracy and repeatable measurements with small measurement variation. It also delivers measurement speeds of 0.9, 2.1 or 3.7 ms.

The instrument is compatible with the company's 4287A LCR meter, while offering greater performance. SCPI commands and handler interface function for the E4982A are compatible with the 4287A LCR meter.
