Bestech Endevco 727 lightweight piezoresistive accelerometer

Saturday, 16 November, 2013 | Supplied by: Bestech Australia Pty Ltd

Bestech Australia introduces the lightweight piezoresistive accelerometer Endevco 727, designed for accurate shock measurement during drop testing of consumer electronic devices among other shock and impact testing environments. Ranging from 2000 up to 60,000 g, the product can measure shocks in g ranges well above current drop test sensors. It is designed to be mounted with adhesive.

A good frequency response from DC to 10 kHz for the 2 kg range and up to DC to 100 kHz for the 60 kg range allows the device to capture the entire frequency range of interest. At 0.3 g for its body and 1.1 g per 30 cm for the integral 3 m cable, mass loading to the test object is minimal. The standard unit comes with an A2LA certified calibration taken at 10 V and the Endevco 42894 removal tool.
