Burster model 2316 Resistomat milliohmmeter
The Burster Resistomat milliohmmeter, model 2316, allows fast and accurate measurements of the smallest resistance values in ranges from 2 mΩ to 200 kΩ.
Designed to test resistance of wheel sets in railway carriages, the device has a rugged aluminium injection-moulded desktop housing with membrane keypad, making it suitable for use in laboratory and industrial environments.
Wires and coils can be measured with temperature compensation. The temperature of the sample is measured with a Pt100 or pyrometer and the resistance is then corrected to the equivalent at 20°C (adjustable) in the instrument.
Apart from measuring the electrical contact resistance on wheel sets of trains, the meter can also measure: transformer motor coil windings; coils of all kinds; cables and wires on the drum or as meter samples; switch and relay contacts; heating elements; fuses.
