Time Electronics has released a current/voltage loop calibrator, available in two standards: the 1047 with an accuracy of 0.05% FS and the 1048 with an accuracy of 0.02% FS.
Providing source and measure in three current and three voltage ranges and including transmitter function, they are intended to cover the requirements of R&D, process control and electronics technicians who want more than the basic mA and volt performance from their calibrator.
User functions include steps, ramps and inching; there are no menus to learn. A 10 turn potentiometer controls output adjustment with up/down increment buttons for fine control.
Signals can be reversed (pos/neg) and zeroed at the flick of a switch. The large, easy-to-read 4½ digit LCD auto-ranges and there is a manual reset to restore.
