Dytran Instruments 3302A biaxial IEPE accelerometer
Dytran Instruments has introduced the model 3302A, a biaxial IEPE accelerometer designed to provide dynamic vibration monitoring within active vibration control applications typically found on commercial and military aircraft..
Using biaxial design, it incorporates the mounting bracket and sensing elements in a single package. This facilitates improved sensor performance while eliminating the costs associated with separate accelerometers and mounting brackets. The design also offers reduced mass when compared with conventional sensors and mounting brackets.
As an IEPE sensor, it features built-in electronics, eliminating the need for an external charge amplifier and converter. Its design features quartz sensing elements, operating in shear mode, packaged in a compact stainless steel housing.
Key features include: integral bracket-style mounting configuration; 500 g range; 10 mV/g sensitivity; 5/16-28 3-pin radial connector; 30 g weight; stainless steel; hermetically sealed; case isolated.
