Dytran Instruments DC response accelerometer range

Dytran Instruments has introduced a series of DC response accelerometers, models 7500M10 and 7500M11 that are DC-coupled analog variable capacitance devices for both commercial and military applications.

The series uses a micro-machined capacitive sensing element housed in a hermetically sealed stainless steel case to deliver results in harsh conditions.

The accelerometers have a 4-pin radial ‘Mighty Mouse’ connector, designed for high-reliability aerospace and defence applications. Units are available with measurement ranges of 50 and 400 g, have a frequency response of 0 to 300 Hz and are mounted via two mounting screws (supplied).

Engineered for zero-to-medium frequency applications, the series combines an integrated VC accelerometer chip with high-drive, low-impedance buffering for responsiveness.

Units house a custom integrated circuit amp, low-noise electronics, differential output and an onboard voltage regulator to minimise the effects of supply voltage variation.

Other features include: MEMS technology; nine to +32 VDC power requirement; stainless steel construction; hermetically sealed; DC response.
