Erntec 3890 CR DC micromotors

Thursday, 13 February, 2014 | Supplied by: ERNTEC Pty Ltd

The 3890 CR series from Erntec is based on the motor concept of the CR DC micromotors series with graphite commutation from Faulhaber.

A neodymium magnet and high copper content in the rotor winding provide the compact drive with a large amount of power. In addition to the high efficiency and good power density (rated torque per volume),  the motor is also said to achieve high service life values even with extremely heavy loads. The coreless rotor also provides cogging‐free, precise synchronisation with low energy consumption.

The series is available in four nominal voltages - 18, 24, 36 and 48 V with a continuous torque of up to 224 mNm. The motor can optionally be combined with Faulhaber precision gearheads available in a range of reduction ratios. For applications demanding precise speed control or positioning tasks, the motor can be combined with a three‐channel magnetic or optical encoder.
