Keysight Technologies U1280 series handheld digital multimeters

The U1280 series of handheld digital multimeters, from Keysight Technologies, deliver measurements and logging capabilities to electrical engineers troubleshooting electronic circuits. With 60,000-count dual display resolution and 0.025% basic DCV accuracy, the handheld DMMs claim to provide precise measurements to users.

The series is certified to IP67 and armed with robust overmould enclosures that allow users to carry out tests and measurements in any condition, including water immersion, and withstand a 3 m drop. With enhanced battery life for maximum productivity, the handheld DMMs supply users with up to 800 h of testing without the hassle of battery charge.

Equipped with a ‘Vsense’ feature, the series provides non-contact voltage protection in dangerous electrical environments by producing audible and blinking LED light alerts when users are in the presence of AC voltage and live wires. The devices also feature square wave output, a frequency counter and a low pass filter to reduce background noise while measuring AC voltage.

The ‘Hold & Export’ button gives users the option to measure, store or export measurement information with one click. If exported, the measurement is sent to the Keysight Meter Logger software for prolonged measurement observation.
