TechRentals has introduced the Kingfisher K17827 light source and K17600 power meter into its rental fleet.
The light source and meter optical-fibre test set are used for singlemode applications such as FTTH (1310, 1490 and 1550 nm).
The light has angled SC, FC and ST interchangeable connectors and the meter is equipped with an In Gas detector and has a large user memory with real-time PC reporting software.
Autotest provides automatic multi-wavelength loss testing. The meter displays mW, uW, nW, dB, dBm to 0.01 dB resolution, with no range changing delays. The meter can be used for multiple, single and multimode wavelengths.
